Transparency Assured
In today's supplement industry, it's increasingly difficult to know exactly what you're putting into your body. Many brands hide behind proprietary blends, inflate their dosages through misleading serving sizes, or make claims without verification.
From third-party testing every batch of our supplements, to clearly stating our per-capsule dosages, to sharing the research behind our formulations – we believe you deserve clarity at every step.
Our commitment to transparency isn't just about listing ingredients – it's about proving the quality, purity and effectiveness of everything we create.
Rigorous Testing at Every Stage

We perform multiple levels of testing on our products. When the raw materials arrive, each ingredient must be accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and evidence of meeting our strict quality standards.

Our team conducts comprehensive checks on colour, scent and weight to ensure full compliance before any ingredient is approved for production.

During production all capsules are individually checked by the human eye to catch any imperfections. Once complete the batch is handed over to our quality control manager who does the final testing before sign off.
Third-Party Testing
Additionally, for each batch, every Puramins product undergoes thorough safety screening, including tests for heavy metals and extensive microbiological analysis. This includes testing for harmful organisms such as yeasts and moulds, Escherichia coli, Coagulase positive staphylococci, Enterobacteriaceae and Salmonella, ensuring the highest standards of product safety and quality.
These tests are performed by leading food and pharmaceutical research organisations in the UK. They are part of UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and have certifications from the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency).
This independent analysis is crucial as it provides unbiased verification of product safety and potency, giving you complete confidence that what's stated on the label matches what's in the bottle.
Unlike internal quality controls, third-party testing offers objective validation that can be trusted by both companies and consumers.
Clear, Honest Labelling
A number of supplement companies use misleading serving sizes to make their products appear more potent than they really are. You might see "1000mg Vitamin C!" prominently displayed on the label, only to discover in the small print that this requires taking 2, 3 or 4 capsules. This practice not only inflates the apparent strength of the supplement but can also make it difficult to compare products and understand exactly what you're taking.
At Puramins, we always list our dosage information per single capsule. When we say our Vitamin C supplement contains 1000mg, that's exactly what you get in one capsule - not spread across multiple servings. This straightforward approach means:
- You know precisely what you're taking with each capsule
- There's no need to calculate actual doses from serving sizes
- You can easily compare our products with others
- You get the full declared strength without having to take multiple capsules
- You receive honest value for your investment
We take this approach because we believe you deserve clarity about what you're putting into your body. No hidden calculations, no misleading numbers - just straightforward, honest information about the supplements you're choosing.
Rejecting Proprietary Blends
If you've ever examined supplement labels closely, you may have noticed terms like 'proprietary blend' or 'proprietary formula'. This industry practice allows manufacturers to list a group of ingredients without revealing the exact amount of each component - only the total blend weight is shown. While companies often claim this protects their 'secret formula', in reality it can mask low doses of expensive ingredients and prevent you from knowing exactly what you're taking.
For example, a proprietary blend might list 'Antioxidant Complex (500mg): Vitamin C, Green Tea Extract, Grape Seed Extract'. While this appears impressive, you have no way of knowing if it contains meaningful amounts of the more expensive ingredients or if it's mostly made up of the cheapest component.
At Puramins, we completely reject this approach. We believe you have the right to know:
- The exact amount of every ingredient in your supplements
- Whether you're getting clinically effective doses
- What you're paying for
- How our products truly compare to alternatives
That's why we clearly list the precise quantity of each ingredient on our labels, no hidden amounts or marketing tricks. This allows you to make informed decisions about your supplementation and ensures you're getting meaningful doses of every ingredient we include.
